Meet Our Dental Team – Washington, PA

Where Patients’ Needs Come First

Dental Health First is not a big box practice that ushers patients in and out. We care about each individual who walks through our doors. No matter their age, we commit to delivering the highest quality of care possible. Whether it is checking someone in at the front desk, cleaning their teeth, or discussing a treatment plan, we believe our patients deserve focused attention and a caring demeanor, which is exactly what individuals can expect when arriving at our dental office.

Denise, Registered Dental Hygienist

Denise has been with our team for more than 35 years! Over that time, her favorite moment is helping patients see the importance of oral health and watching the smile they get when they leave with clean, beautiful teeth. Since graduating from West Liberty University, she has improved her skills with continuing education coursework. At home, Denise and Shawn, her husband of more than 30 years, love traveling to beaches along the east coast (especially in South Carolina) and spending time with their two adult children and young twin grandsons.

Sarah, Dental Hygienist

In total, Sarah has nearly 20 years of dental experience. When she can put a patient’s mind at ease and make their smile sparkly clean, she finds her work most rewarding. She attended college at West Liberty University and is originally from Washington, PA. She has been married to her best friend and husband for more than 16 years. Together, they have a son and daughter, and they are busy with their sports and school activities. In her free time, Sarah likes to stay active, taking their whippet on long walks, and volunteering in the special needs class at her church.

Holly, Front Desk

Holly has over 10 years of dental experience and loves getting to know our wonderful patients. She attended Waynesburg University and is originally from West Alexander, PA. She and her husband have a beautifully blended family with a total of five children and three grandchildren. When she is not in the office, she loves to spend time with her family and ride on a motorcycle with her husband.

Wendi, Front Desk

When Wendi joined our team, she already had 30 years of dental experience under her belt. She graduated from Robert Morris University and has since earned several training certifications with Dentrix and Easy Dental, as well as Dexis. She is also the owner of Cagni Practice Consulting. She and her husband, Fred, have five fur babies—four dogs and one cat—who mean everything to her. In their spare time, when they are not with their pets, they go to car shows, garden, and do home improvement projects.

Denise, Dental Assistant

Originally from Bridgeville, PA, Denise attended school at Point Park University and earned her bachelor’s in business management. She has also received her Radiation Health and Safety certificate and has about 10 years of experience as a dental assistant. Most of all, she enjoys getting to work with such talented dentists and staff, as well as our amazing patients. She is married and has a dog, and in her free time you will find her gardening, cooking, and listening to music.

Emily, Dental Assistant

After more than 30 years at our practice, Emily still loves to see the transformation in patients’ confidence at the end of treatment. She takes pride in playing a part in making dream smiles come true. Over her career, she has also earned an Expanded Function Dental Assistant certificate. Emily is married and has two sons, and her favorite season is spring, when she can plant and watch nature bloom. On those rainy days, she likes to play video games, read, and try out new recipes. In fact, she’s up to trying pretty much any kind of food from anywhere in the world.

Rhonda, Dental Assistant

Rhonda is unique in that she received all of her training on the job over the course of 25+ years. She is X-ray certified and graduated from Trinity High School in 1990. She enjoys working alongside our team of professionals and knowing that she is delivering excellent service every day. She and Victor, her husband of more than 30 years, have two sons who are married. They are also the proud grandparents of three young boys. When she is not in the office or spending time with her family, Rhonda enjoys shopping, cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams, going to concerts, and eating out.
